Dawnelia the Fashionista: Review: LUSH BB Seaweed Face Mask

Price: $15.95AUD for 75g
Storage life: You have about 3 weeks of usage which is recommended by LUSH. Make sure you pop this in the refrigerator to preserve the mask!

Ingredients: seaweed, honey, almond, aloe vera, olive oil, rose, kaolin

Relaxing and reviving, mineral-rich mask to cleanse, soften and beautify all skins. This blend, inspired by the sea, contains fresh and nutritious seaweed and seaweed absolute. Cleansing kaolin, antiseptic honey, calming aloe vera and rose absolute make this a great mask for everyone.

My verdict: Being the first LUSH mask product to try, I have some pretty good feedback for it! This is a really nice mask for sensitive and combination-dry skin. After using it, my skin feels softer, smoother, well hydrated and it was glowing! The mask contains some solid bits and pieces that aren't harsh for exfoliating your skin, but does a wonderful job at cleansing your skin also. It can smell a little funky at first, but I don't mind the smell because I'm too concentrated on how nice it feels when you apply the chilled mask onto your skin! I think in future, I will chill my other masks too!

If you have red patches on your skin, which it usually appears around the corners of my nose and cheek area, this mask actually helps cool down those red patches! Another thing to mention, is that the mask actually opens up pores and cleans deep into your skin! I had a huge pimple on my chin that felt painful to touch, but after the mask, the pore had opened and my pimple was half gone!

After 10 minutes, the mask feels hard and will start to crack if you move your mouth or nose. That's when I will wash it off with water and actually use the wet mask and solid pieces to clean my face like facial wash. If you leave it on for more than 10 minutes it will make your skin feel dry after washing it off, which I experienced once.

My rating: ★★★

I would definitely buy this again! After I try out some of the other LUSH masks though :D I love it because it makes my skin feel clean and hydrated, but keeping it balanced from oily skin. It also does a good job at combating blemishes as well!
