Detoxifying Face Mask Homemade

Ads :

Summer time provides many opportunities for toxins to invade your skin. Increased social and outdoor activities often cause us to use more styling and make-up products along with topical preparations such as sunscreen. This can leave your skin sorely in need of detoxifying.

To make this detoxifying face mask you will need:
1. 3 teaspoons seaweed powder
2. 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
3. purified water, enough to make a paste

First get your face ready to absorb the sea minerals and lemon. One way to do this is to run a clean wash cloth under hot water. Then rest it on the face for about thirty seconds, warming, opening, and stimulating. Next mix the seaweed powder with juice and water in a small bowl. With your fingers, spread the mask over your skin. Once you have a nice even coating of the seaweed and lemon face mask, then let it set for up to ten minutes. Use your same cloth that you used to open pores to wash off the mask. Dry and put on a moisturizer to keep your skin soft and supple, but not oily!

Rinse your face with warm water to open up the pores. Apply honey and leave for half an hour. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.

Mix 1 tsp. brewer’s yeast with plain yogurt to make a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly into all the oily areas and leave for 15 – 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, then use cold water to close the pores.
