Lulu & Boo Organics makes organic clay mask that besides green clay contains all the other ingredients which are good and beneficial for your skin. I have tried this for couple of weeks now and my skin always blossoms after I have used it. It doesn't dry face out like pure clay does, yet it cleans it thoroughly leaving it smooth. I have also noticed that all the moisturisers/serums/oils go on so effortlessly afterwards creating perfect canvas for makeup.
It is made of 63% organic ingredients containing Aloe Vera, Apple Extract, Glycerine, Green Clay, Hemp Oil, Jojoba Oil, Juniper Essential Oil, May Chang Essential Oil, Papaya Extract, Propolis, Rosemary Essential Oil, Seaweed Extract and Witch Hazel.
This mask is designed for problematic and oily skin. Although I really thing it could be beneficial also for combination skin as it isn't so drying like some other clay masks can be.
- Organic Seaweed helps to oxygenate, tone and revitalise the skin
- Papaya and Apple extracts naturally contain alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA), which help to loosen and remove dead skin cells
- Green Clay, rich in minerals and active enzymes, stimulate the skin’s circulation and helps to draw out toxins and impurities
- Propolis Extract known for its natural antibiotic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory propert
It is greenish-grey mask that has consistency of a paste. It smells fresh and I can definitely recognise the smell of propolis. When applying it I could totally feel grains or texture in it, so no need for separate exfoliation when using it. All the dead skin and flakes were gone after washing the mask off.
Although it contains propolis as anti-inflammatory ingredient I didn't feel no burning sensation or discomfort at all when sitting for 15 minutes mask on my face. I use it once or twice a week depending on my need for calming my face down and getting my face deep cleansed.
I think you would love it too if you have a skin in need for a cleansing and balancing out.
